Concrete Block Plant Manager - East St. Louis, IL

Develop and execute ongoing concrete block production and operations strategy by managing and optimizing production planning, scheduling, materials handling, logistics, process flow, preventative maintenance and capital expenditure programs.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, manage labor policies, safety, health and environment.
Strong leadership and passion for building a high performing manufacturing team.
Establish and maintain a strong , positive plant culture.
Create and monitor scorecards for plant personnel, conduct interim and annual reviews and development opportunities.
Critical communication development and business reporting:
Prepare forecast and meet budgets for labor, material and overhead.
Monitor report results, meet goals for safety, quality, productivity, cost and compliance.
Play a key role in developing and presenting critical information and reports to senior ownership.
Install, adapt and oversee leading production operation processes and procedures, including continuous improvement, lean, etc.
Lead effort to improve production process flow for current products and assist in effort to develop and produce new products.
Requirements:
Min of 10 years of concrete paver production with a thorough understanding of the production process 5 years of production management experience/plant floor- day to day operational focus Ability to implement lean principles and optimize productivity Quality control/safety background Recommended Skills Concrete Management Optimizing Productivity Production Quality Conctrol Safety Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
