The Residential Building Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintenance of four separate residences in St.
Clair County.
Each residence provides living quarters for 6 to 12 people.
Ensure all employees and residents have healthy and safe places to work and live.
Duties:
Maintain the functionality, appearance, safety, and security of each building Make handyman type repairs as needed Conduct preventive maintenance as needed to maintain HVAC systems, plumbing, electric, sewer, phone lines, fire suppression systems, etc.
Perform small remodeling / repair projects as needed Work with outside contractors when necessary for major repairs, lawn care, snow removal, etc.
Maintain control of all keys Maintain compliance with fire safety requirements and conduct periodic fire drills Maintain compliance with Joint Commission standards Maintain compliance with REAC standards Order supplies, receive and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment Provide purchase orders and receipt documents to finance department Work together with Residential Manager, case managers, and therapeutic aides to ensure client needs are met Reports to:
Building Manager Requirements:
General knowledge of building construction, operations, and systems At least five years of experience working in the building trades Salary:
$25.
