Air Quality Engineer

Overview Afton Chemical Corporation develops and manufactures petroleum additives that help fuels burn cleaner and more efficiently, engines run smoother, and machines last longer. Afton is seeking an air quality engineer for our manufacturing facility in Sauget, Illinois located near Saint Louis, Missouri. Candidate must work effectively in a manufacturing environment within a team.  Responsibilities Technical Competency in: Program management and compliance assurance for applicable air regulations and programs, including, but not limited to, Clean Air Act, Title V, NESHAP, HON, MON, MACT, PSD, LDAR; Monitoring regulatory developments & emerging issues (with multiple stakeholder agencies/associations/NGOs); Developing, managing, and auditing: air pollution control technologies, air emissions inventories and calculations, multiple stakeholder, air permitting requirements and assurances, control systems to ensure on going compliance Data compilation, interpretation, evaluation, comparison to permit/environmental standards Operations support, engagement with and connection to plant/units Overseeing control systems and providing compliance support for incident reporting Contractor assessment, engagement, management and oversight Wastewater compliance management as it relates to air compliance Responsible Care / ISO Management Systems (RC 14001, ISO 14001) Experience working with state and federal agencies, as well as internal company stakeholders, to resolve compliance/permitting issues   Leadership Skills & Abilities Strong ethics and values-based decision making Provides governance and oversight as well as outstanding operational support Creates processes, procedures and systems to ensure compliance Strong verbal and written skills, ability to present technical information in a concise and professional manner. Strong technical writing skills. Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude Strong problem-solving skills  Works well in teams as well as independently (self-starter). Collaborates with corporate team. Project Management skills - coordinates various air quality projects (scope, budget, team management to deliver results) Multi-tasking & prioritization skills, willing/able to work on a variety of tasks Reliable, counted on to meet deadlines and requirements Environmental compliance auditing Lean/Six Sigma background Metrics   Qualifications BS or MS in Chemical, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering 7-10 years of hands on experience in Air Quality/Environmental (includes plant experience)  Must have experience and familiarity with chemical, petrochemical, refining or related manufacturing industry Professional Engineering License desired On call, after hours supportrequired

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
